Curl Curl Knights Junior Rugby is Looking Good
Curl Curl Plumbing would like to congratulate all the teams who competed in the 2016 JRL season. As a local business we are very proud to be associated with the North Curl Curl Knights. The way the club conducts itself on and off the the field is a testament to the players and family’s who form the club.
As one of the smallest clubs in the Manly Warringah Junior Rugby League the Curl Curl Knights have had a fantastic year. All 3 of their division 1 teams made it to the Grand Finals which were played last weekend at Brookvale Oval. Unfortunately the under 9 & 11 were unsuccessful in their bid to be 2016 champions but showed great sportsmanship in the way they played the game. The under 10 team were victors and had a huge win. This was the second year in a row the under 10’s made it to the finals.
The Knights are becoming a force to be reckoned with. They have been growing 20% each year for the last 3 years. Currently the club has 2 teams in each age group from under 6 ,7, 9 & under 10. It also boast 1 team in the under 8, 11, & 12.
The attraction for most people coming to the knights is the family friendly club. The club supports fun, good sportsmanship and fair play as well as a competitive edge that lets them compete with the best teams in the area.
